An Opportunity to Finance Senior Care
November 4, 2007
Welcome to Carevisions Newsletter. November, 2007 November Update: A true tale of financing in independent and assisted living: Today I was in the position to assist a man who had his father living in an assisted living community for a year. During this year, the family had to foot the bill for $2825.00 per month expenses for care, room, and board. His dad had been in the Korean War. We talked, and he realized that his dad, like many wartime veterans, might have eligibility for coverage under his veteran's pension. As I state in my new ebook, Solutions:the Empowered Senior Care Search, sometimes the answers are just one more question away. Don't be afraid to ask it!!! That's what we long-term care professionals are here for. Remember the Wizard of Oz? There is simply "no place like home". I soon came to realize my mission was a whole lot more than getting them through the process, it was getting them and their families feeling comfortable enough that they could once again be at home., regardless of which setting they chose. I wrote "Solutions, the Empowered Senior Care Search", based on this premise. Solutions will soon be available for purchase on the Carevisions Website. Simply go to Carevisions.com. I figure that people wanted to know how each system worked from inside, what questions needed to be asked ( that they would NOT normally know to ask), and how to maximize funding, in order to reduce worry for the whole family. Home is where the heart is, and we want everyone's heart to feel intact, expecially during the precious, but often emotional holiday season. Have a wonderful month! Angela
